DON’T WORRY I DIDN’T FORGET 😉
The first Conical Shell demo was recorded in 2019.
It was mid-lockdown and I was a mess. I recorded that demo onto an ancient Zoom recorder with a broken mic. It took me years to figure out how to finish it (with a few breakdowns along the way), but when we stripped everything back to just me and the guitar, it finally felt right.
Here is the finished, studio version of Conical Shell:

If you listen to this final version right after that original demo, you can really hear the transition from a guy in his bedroom falling to pieces to a guy in the studio finally beginning to put himself back together.
